Belief is the most powerful force in our world. Belief builds nations, fortunes, tames rivers, travels to the moon, raises families, and changes the course of mankind.
And belief limits.
Young elephants are tethered by one leg to a stake with a small chain and after days of pulling accepts that it cannot escape. As an adult this same elephant, weighing thousands of pounds, can be held by the same stake and small chain. When it feels the chain, it stops pulling.
People capable of almost any feat are held in place by antiquated beliefs rather than current reality. Question your beliefs, examine the truth about your obstacles in real time. Are they still real? Millions of people are repeating today using yesterdays restrictions as boundaries. Even if the chain is the same, are you bigger, different, stronger, more determined or just desperate enough to try…………. again?
Opportunities renew because of who you become.
If you like where you are, truly like it, then stay. But, if you are there by default or defeat, try again. Pull hard on the chain.
Once we see something impossible accomplished, we lose faith in the impossible and enjoy the benefits of reality. Be a pioneer, lead the way, make the impossible vanish.
